Celebrate the Climb

Celebrate the Climb – President Paula Sarlls will climb 426 steps at Red Rocks on March 15th to honor the Marine Corps Birthday, Iwo Jima Veterans turning 100, and her own birthday. Join the challenge and donate per step!

Celebrate the Climb

Last year, the USMC Memorial Foundation President marked her birthday and honored our Iwo Jima Marine friends with a skydiving adventure. This year, she’s keeping her feet on the ground but taking on a new challenge—climbing 426 steps at Red Rocks.

426 Steps to the Top

Each step in this climb represents a moment in history, a tribute to service, and a commitment to honoring the past. Together, the 250 steps for the Marine Corps, 100 for Iwo Jima veterans, and 76 for the President’s birthday total 426 steps of dedication and perseverance. This climb is a symbol of strength and remembrance, culminating in a celebration at the top.

76 Steps for the President’s Birthday

This climb is also a personal challenge for the USMC Memorial Foundation President as she celebrates her birthday with purpose—channeling that energy into a meaningful tribute to Marines past and present.

100 Steps for Iwo Jima Veterans Turning 100

The heroes of Iwo Jima, one of the most iconic battles in Marine Corps history, are reaching the incredible milestone of 100 years of life. These steps are dedicated to their courage, resilience, and the lasting impact they have left on our nation.

250 Steps for the Marine Corps Birthday

The Marine Corps has stood strong for nearly two and a half centuries. This climb honors the legacy, bravery, and sacrifice of those who have served, marking another year of unwavering commitment to duty and country.
