Orson Swindle is a retired USMC fighter pilot with over 200 missions in Southeast Asia. He was shot down 11/11/66 over NVN, captured, and spent over six years as a POW in Hanoi. His military decorations include two silver stars among others. After retiring as a Lt Colonel, Orson served as Assistant Secretary of Commerce in the Reagan Administration, and as a commissioner on Federal Trade Commission (1997-2005). He lives in Morrison, Colorado.
