Photos from Memorial show our Guest Speaker Major General William F Mullen, III USMC (R) along with Major Folan, RS Denver swearing in young Marine recruits. The Young Marines Organization supports the Memorial with the color guard provided from units in Colorado. The Bagpiper is Korea veteran Ken Giese. The rifle squad is the All Veterans Honor Guard. The Foundation’s President, Paula Sarlls Emcees the event and Secretary Mary Eckhout says the prayers. Also present were Iwo Jima veterans Jim Blane and Al Jennings and Korea veteran Bob Brockish. Councilwoman Ramey Johnson and her husband from Lakewood were in attendance as was Councilman Paul Haseman from Golden.
